Metadata for Exercises

1 Initial Problem

Unlike other learning resources, the Exercise object is not supporting metadata yet. This should be changed to

• offer more possibilities for content description and retrieval in Exercises
• streamline features in ILIAS

2 Conceptual Summary

Excersises are to support custom metadata from a global custom metadata sets.

1. Excersises are extended to feature a "Metadata" tab located in synch with the Guideline for Ordering of Tabs.
2. The Metadata tab will feature the two subtabs:
   • LOM 
   • Custom Metadata for entering values into metadata sets
3. The "Custom Metadata Sets"-table and the "New Data Set"- Form in ILIAS Administration > Metadata > Custom Metadata > Datasets is to allow global custom metadata sets to be assigned to Excersises.
   • The values will be the same as in the other cases: Not Used, Optional, Mandatory.
4. On Info screen of Excersises all metadata are visible if they are set in Excersises > Metadata > Custom Metadata menu.
