The ILIAS Mail System currently supports mail templates for manual mails. While already being used for automatic mailings in single cases, this use is not documented and as such not in a stable way "promised or a generally considered and conceptually rounded facility.
2 Conceptual Summary
This feature request covers covering sending automatic mails based on templates with according reliable and accountable documentation as well as minor modifications of the user interface to allow users and developers taking advantage of the features "new powers".
