better Aggregated Test Results
Page Overview
[Hide]related to Extended Test and Item Statistics
1 Initial Problem
The aggregated test results sum up main statistical variables for the total number of test participants, but important values are missing and there is no graphical representation for the distribution of grades (Notenverteilung)
2 Conceptual Summary
The "Aggregated Test Results" screen should be extended by figures that allow the teacher a faster and more representative view for the test:
To be added:
Average relative score: The average relative score in percentage (e.g.: 71.45 %) of all relative scores of the performed tests by the student. This is particularly useful for random tests, as the “score in points” per test can vary greatly and does not represent the student performance.
- The displayed Value is generated according to the user setting “Scoring Multiple Passes”
- The displayed Value is generated according to the user setting “Scoring Multiple Passes”
This values should also be part of the Export generated in "Aggregated Test Results" and the "Test Result Export File"
should be dropped or at least discussed:
Average maximum points of passed tests: This value is not really expressive nor informative
Average processing time of all passed tests: This value represents only a part of the test.
Average points of passed tests: This value represents only a part of the test. The teacher Is in general interested in a holistic view. The new introduced Mean of Points (Mittelwert) fulfills this property, see (https://docu.ilias.de/goto.php?target=wiki_1357_Extended_Test_and_Item_Statistics).
3 User Interface Modifications
3.1 List of Affected Views
{Please list all views (screens) of ILIAS that should be modified, newly introduced or removed.}
3.2 User Interface Details
The values "Average relative score", "Average mark" and "Number of failed tests " are presented are displayed in tabular form. The distribution of marks is presented for the user as bar chart with a corresponding labeling.
3.3 New User Interface Concepts
The use of column chart from the UI Kitchen Sink is intended
