Disable background task completely (direct download)
Page Overview
[Hide]This feature request is a part of the Calendar Revision III.
1 Initial Problem
With feature Download Files from Calendar, it is possible to download large amounts of files that are available via sessions in the calendar. The Background Task is used in the process to bundle the large amounts of data.
If the server infrastructure is sufficient, it is not absolutely necessary to take this route and a direct download makes more sense for the users.
2 Conceptual Summary
If the option "Batch File Downloads in Calendar" is activated in the calendar system settings, the background task is used by default for the process. This can be deactivated here if desired, so that the calendar files can be downloaded directly via the browser download.
- 1 file = 1 file as download
- multiple files = 1 ZIP file for download
