Page-Specific Statistics in Learning Modules
Page Overview
[Hide]1 Initial Problem
Understanding how often and long individual pages in a learning module are visited is not possible. However this information is valuable for further developing the content.
2 Conceptual Summary
The current tab 'Questions' should be extended by a sub-tab 'Pages'. This subtab should offer a table listing all pages of the Learning Module along with
- Usage (on per default)
- ∑ Users (on per default)
- ∑ Access Number (on per default)
- Ø Access Number / User
- Ø Time Spent / User
- Ø Time Spent / Access
The columns can be shown or hidden.
The tab 'Questions' should be re-labeled to 'Statistics'.

7 Discussion
Killing, Alexander [alex], 7 June 2019: I support the general idea, but
- "Questions" and "Blocked Users" belong together and "Blocked Users" is not a kind of "Statistics" imo.
- "Time Spent" is a weak concept in ILIAS currently (as there is no JS really updating these values regularly or checking focous of the current tab). In single page assets (like a single learning module page) this becomes an even weaker concept imo, since the quality of these numbers increases if resources include a lot of different pages.
JourFixe, ILIAS [jourfixe], 17 JUN 2019: We highly appreciate this suggestion but would like to have a review of the tab labeling and structure. We see the problem with the label 'Statistics'. Matthias and Alexandra will discuss a possible solution.
8 Implementation
{The maintainer has to give a description of the final implementation and add screenshots if possible.}
