1 Initial Problem

The System Messages are not a great tool to send an important message to users. A better way could and should be devised in the Communications section of the new Page Layout. But for the time being the System Messages just need to go since they are in the way of the Page Layout Revision.

2 Conceptual Summary

The entire feature System Messages is abandonned - root and stem.

JourFixe, ILIAS [jourfixe], 04 FEB 2019 : We highly appreciate this suggestion and decide to abandon this feature with 6.0. All existing system message that are send automatically by ILIAS will be simple messages with 6.0 (no more distinction between system messages and others).
