Small block for Courses and Groups on Personal Desktop

1 Initial Problem

A new small content block for the enhanced News GUI (see News as a fully featured starting page including sortable blocks) is needed.

2 Conceptual Summary

Make the list from Courses and Groups (named list) available as a sortable block on the new News GUI. The small block only has 3 levels of detail:

• Level 1: Only show Object icon and title
• Level 2: Show object icon, title and description (shortened to 128 characters)
• Level 3: Show object icon, title, description and location in the repository.
