Get rid of Pop-Up in Test

1 Initial Problem

We noticed that the pop-up (Navigation mit Speichern / Save on Navigation) disturbs the execution unnecessarily and is deeply annoying. Some users use this pop-up as a navigation element by clicking Save and Proceed each single time. Nowadays, users simply should expect that their answers will be saved anyway.

Neumann, Fred [fneumann], Mai 23, 2018: We already suppressed this popup completely and no user complained about that since one year. Some other institutions asked for the same.

If it is seen as important to explictly give that information, then we can think about the following alternatives:

1. Show the info prominently on the starting page of the test
2. Show the popup once without checkbox and 'cancel' when the first test question is saved and supress it automatically afterwards.

June 14, 2018: We also suppressed that popup in our TA installations of ILIAS 5, since it was generally agreed here in Regensburg that it causes quite unnecessary confusion for students in an exam setting.

Tödt, Alexandra [atoedt] 2018-08-17: AFAIK you can still ask for the pop-up to be removed in 5.4. I think there is no deadline on abandonning stuff before beta.

Kunkel, Matthias [mkunkel], 17 AUG 2018 : Please discuss this suggestion at the next EA meeting in Lucerne and add the result to this page. It would accept the removal of this pop-up if the majority of the SIG EA votes for it.

Strassner, Denis [dstrassner], 26. Sept 2018 : SIG EA meeting in Lucerne: The majority of the SIG EA votes for it, but also decides that we start a poll: "If there is no majority in the poll for receiving the pop-up, it can be removed for 5.4 as a usability fix."

Heyser, Björn [bheyser], 12 November 2018: The decision by the SIG EA has been made using a poll. The majority wants to fully get rid of the modal in question.

JourFixe, ILIAS [jourfixe], 19 NOV 2018 : We accept this change as a usability fix for 5.4. Please complete the Implementation section when committed the code.

8 Implementation

Implemented like described above. The general modal that popped up everytime when the answer for a question gets saved until the checkbox is checked has been removed completely. It does not appear anymore.
