Support Versions for Reporting on xAPI Learning Module Object

If you need any help in filling out this wiki page, please visit our ILIAS Community FAQ.

1 Initial Problem

When using the 'xAPI Learning Module Object' it is much easier to update the content compared to SCORM and this will eventually be made available less via an upload. Therefore, it is often impossible to automatically detect the presence of a new version. You may then compare apples and oranges regarding the learning progress.

2 Conceptual Summary

Within Settings, the "xAPI Learning Module" contains a field to specify a version (numerically). When uploading content, the version is automatically incremented. But it can also be entered manually. There is a reporting where the version can be displayed. It is also possible to select for versions.
