Custom Metadata: Mandatory metadata fields

1 Initial Problem

In certain scenarios/contexts it would be helpful to be able to make selected (custom) metadata fields mandatory. Some possible examples:

• Before sharing a course/object via ECS
• When creating an object in a Category for Huge Amount of Data
• … especially when employing the Category for Huge Amount of Data
• … and probably especially in OER scenarios

2 Conceptual Summary

As we admittetly have more questions (eg. feasibility?) than answers as the time of creation of this entry we ask for the maintainers help on the final concept.
