Multi-Select for Data Collection Filter

1 Initial Problem

Current dropdown filters in a data collection do only allow a selection of one filter criteria. This often does not satisfy the needs of a user. Sometimes you want to look for something that fits to two criterias. Or you want to see everything but items tagged with one or two criterias.

2 Conceptual Summary

The existing class.ilMultiSelectInputGUI.php will be used for filters in a data collection. It allows to select one or multiple filter criteria easily.

7 Discussion

Samoila, Oliver [oliver.samoila], 10 JUL 2024:
This requirement could be processed with the further processing of the Project '[[[Project] Removing of Legacy-UIComponents-Service and Table]]'.
The new KS FIlters support such multiple selection and could be used.
Please contact Samoila, Oliver [oliver.samoila].
