Portfolio: Declaration of Authorship
Page Overview
[Hide]1 Initial Problem
It is already possible to include a signature field in the PDF generation of a portfolio. Additionally we need a "Declaraction of Authorship" text being included to be able to use the portfolio PDF as an official document.
2 Conceptual Summary
Portfolios are considered exam written exams.
Mandatory for this is a so-called "Declaration of Authorship".
This is the same declaration in an institution and should be ready for the portfolio printout.
Example in German:
(Quelle: https://www.bzl.uni-bonn.de/dokumente/praxiselemente/selbststaendigkeitserklaerung.pdf)

7 Discussion
Killing, Alexander [alex], 18 Apr 2018: I support the idea.
Kunkel, Matthias [mkunkel], May 01, 2018 : A mockup at least for the new subtab "Declaration of Authorship" would be highly appreciated. If I understand the request correctly, no editor is offered for the textarea and no formatting is supported, right? One request of changing concept concerns the translation handling. Instead of offering a text input for every activated language (as we have done unfortunately in the past) I would like to go a new way with this feature and offer only text inputs for different text versions and a selector for which of the activated languages this text is assigned to. Such legal texts are often not translated to every supported language. Effect is that you copy the same text into every textarea - which is pure nonsense.
Kunkel, Matthias [mkunkel], 07 May 2018 : We highly appreciate this suggestion and schedule the feature for 5.4 with the following changes:
- No TinyMCE for the text input of the declarations. Just simple text.
- If an activated language has an empty text area, the default language is always used.
- If the text areas for a user's language and the default language are both empty, no option to activate the declaration is offered for a user.
