Sorting for Custom Metadata Sets

This feature request is a part of the Calendar Revision II.

1 Initial Problem

The order of custom metadata sets is currently defined by the creation date. There is no function to set the order manually. It's only possible to change order of the fields within a set.

One should be able to sort custom metadata sets manually so that the order (in which the metadata is displayed on the info tab of an object) can be determined individually.

2 Conceptual Summary

The table in which datasets of custom metadata are listed in the administration should get a new order field with which the order of the entries can be customized (same pattern as e.g. used in the data collection).

3.1 List of Affected Views

• Administration > Metadata > Custom Metadata > Datasets

3.2 User Interface Details

The table shown in the view listed above should get a new order field. The order saved in this field defines the order in which the sets are displayed to the user on the info screen.
