Interactive Video - visual markers

This is a feature request for the Plugin Interactive Video.

1 Initial Problem

It is not possbile to visually point out / mark  something on the video image in order to give context to a comment.

For example: users should be able to underline the part of an equation that they do not get / that is erroneous.

2 Conceptual Summary

It should be possible to place visual markers somewhere in / over the video image. The marker is then displayed during playback for the duration of the passage or (if no end of passage has been configured) for a default time of 3s.

List of markers:
  • line
  • arrow
  • circle
  • rectangle
Creation / Editing:
  • The markers can be added through the comment creation function beneath the video.
  • Step 1: new Checkbox "Add visual marker" is checked
  • New controls appear:
    • colour selector
    • line strength selector
    • shape selector dropdown that inserts the form over the the video image
    • Add button for adding the shape
  • Step 2: Add button is pressed
  • new controls appear:
    • Resizing (+ / -) buttons
    • rotation buttons (rotate to left / right)
    • textual hint / label that states "positioning of the shape is done through drag and drop"
    • new button "Remove shape"
  • Step 3: Save comment
There should also be a way for instructors to add visual markers and the "Manage screen" by introducing a new button "Add comment with marker" that leads to a comment screen with the video player at the top.

The current Edit Comment screen needs a link to the same screen as the button "Add comment with marker" but with prefilled forms.
