1 Initial Problem

This feature targets the facilitation of the metadata entry by assigning metadata for several objects in one go.

Dieses Feature zielt auf die Vereinfachung der Metadaten-Eingabe indem für mehrere Objekte Metadaten in einem Rutsch vergeben werden können.

2 Conceptual Summary

This feature should enable the following: when metadata for container objects are being allocated (categories, courses, etc.) all other contained objects, which haven’t had metadata so far, should be provided with suitable metadata from the container object. Not everything can be accepted (i.e. expected processing time) but in the suited environment many things can be. This feature can promote OER through facilitating the entry of metadata.

Dieses Feature soll ermöglichen, dass bei Vergabe von Metadaten für Container-Objekte (Kategorien, gg. auch Kurse ...) auch alle enthaltenen Objekte, die bislang keine Metadaten haben, mit geeigneten Metadaten aus dem Container-Objekt versehen werden. Nicht alles lässt sich übernehmen (z.B. erwartete Bearbeitungszeiten), doch im geeigneten Umfeld vieles eben schon. Dieses Feature befördert OER durch Erleichterungen bei der Eingabe von Metadaten.
