Import of Subject Headings Authority Files

1 Initial Problem

As hinted at in Autocompleted tag search and assignment it be very interesting for certain scenarios, specially for building and maintaining OER scenarios with ILIAS, to be able to import subject headings authority files (German: Schlagwortnormdateien) into ILIAS (and to restrict tag usage (in a certain context!) to the tags from this "collection"). This does not necessarily have to happen "globally" but perhaps for a specific Category for Huge Amount of Data.

This would be very helful for building a collection of OER materials. Consider for expample the LiLa project. It’s goal was/is to build a (large) collection of virtual laboratories and remote experiments.
