Overview: Enhancing Learning Plans
1 Initial Problem
By now (ILIAS 5.2.x), it is not possible to keep a course's learning plan configuration when copying it. The impact of this problem increases in case relative schedules are introduced (s. article "Relative Schedules in Courses with Learning Plan").
2 Conceptual Summary
A course's learning plan configuration is supposed to be preserved when copying it.

7 Discussion
Kunkel, Matthias [mkunkel], June 26, 2017: Don't we need an option "Copy" and "Ignore" for the course's learning plan configuration? In case of just re-using the structure of a course I might not like to keep the course's learning plan configuration - or am I wrong?
JourFixe, ILIAS [jourfixe], July 17, 2017: We highly appreciate this suggestion and schedule the feature for 5.4. An option for Copy or Ignore is not needed.
8 Implementation
There are no changes to the interface, thus there are not screenshots required.
