1 Initial Problem

Tutors cannot export feedback that was given in an assignement with peerfeedback. Downloading an export file would be extremely helpful in

preparing a discussion about the quality of submissions
including the quality of the Peerfeedback in grading the assignment (would be done outside of the system).
statistically processing the feedback provided (would be done outside of the system).

Tutors need an export that is optimized for statistcal processing is not neccessarily easy to read for humans.

2 Conceptual Summary

1. Downloading Submissions of an assignment of the type "Upload", "Portfolio" and "Blog" that has no peer feedback

Stays as it is

2. Downloading Submissions of an assignment of the type "Text"

Excel sheet comprising all submission texts

3. Downloading Submissions and Feedback for "Upload", "Portfolio" and "Blog" should comprise

zip file comprising all submissions
Folder comprising all feedback files (if applicable)
Excel sheet with hyperlinks to submission files and to feedback-files (if applicable)

4. Downloading Submissions and Feedback for "Text" should comprise

Folder comprising all feedback files (if applicable)
Excel sheet comprising all submissions with hyperlinks to submission files and to feedback-files (if applicable)

If the criteria catalogue has a start rating the number of starts should be given as a digit in the export file.

The export file are prepared should be available in the sub-tabs

Assignment View > Export File name = Assignment Titel
Participant View > Export File name = Participant Name

No "Submission and Feedback"-Download will be available in the subtab Grades View.
The export file should be available for the types of assignment:

JourFixe, ILIAS [jourfixe], Oct 23, 2017: We highly appreciate this request and schedule the feature for 5.4. Alexander will check if PHPExcel allows such a kind of linking to external files. Additionally, we would have the file download as background task (new implementation). If possible, the tool bar should be 'beautified' and line breaking should be checked (see screenshot above).

Killing, Alexander [alex], 30 Juli 2018: There is one limitation in Excel that makes the structure a little difficult. Excel allows only one link per cell. This means if we have multiple submission files and multiple feedback files per users, we need to occupy more rows or columns.

Busch, Sophia [SophiaBusch] am 30.07.18: Here is a view in which each feedback process has its own line in the table. That way, information about the participant won't be lost if we use the sorting function.

Sorting the table for a specific column of feedback should be possible. The newly sorted table should still present me with a data set of the participant including all submission files.

JourFixe, ILIAS [jourfixe], 30 JUL 2018 : We discussed the several options (see screenshots above) and prefer solution three offered by Sophia Busch (vertical extension of additional cells for files and redundant filling of cells to support sorting etc.).
