Linking appointments between calendars
1 Description
Up to now, an appointment can only be part of one calendar.
Thus, some actions are not possible:
- In case someone in charge for a calendar realizes that an appointment is relevant in two or three different perspectives, he/she cannot make it part of corresponding calendars but has to apply the appointment again and again.
- In case a calendar is shared with other users, they can only view the appointment but neither edit it nor take it over into calendars of their own or vice versa. Thus, calendars cannot be "shared" in the full sense of the word.
The question is whether a solution was to copy or link appointments between calendars. For the sake of the facility to "share" a calendar in the full sense of the word, I'd suggest to make appointments linkable.

Jesper: I would like the feature but I'm bit worried how this works in regards to RBAC. If the appointment is made in Group X what happens when the same appointment is in Group Y ? Would this make appointments like files, i.e. versioned and hardlinked?
Zenzen, Enrico [ezenzen], 05 AUG 2022: This request no longer fulfills the requirements of the Feature Wiki. In consultation with the maintainer I change the status of the feature request to "Redundant / outdated". If the request is still relevant, please update template and mockups.
