Preset notification in wiki

1 Initial Problem

In scenarios of collaborative learning, wikis play an important role. And it is important for the success of such a scenario that users contribute to the wiki and stay up-to-date about changes and new contributions to the wiki. Unfortunatelly, not every user activates the notification when visiting the wiki the first time. Presetting the notification for all users or a course or group would solve this problem. Users could deactivate the notification nevertheless when they feel annoyed.

2 Conceptual Summary

Wikis within groups or courses get a "Notifications"-subtab in the 'Settings' tab. Similar to the forum object, users with "Edit Settings"-permission are able to define notfication behavior. As a result, users in such a course or group do not have to manually activate notifications for this wiki.
