Multilingual Page Editor for Container Objects
Page Overview
[Hide]
1 Initial Problem
Container objects in ILIAS can have sub items for different target languages. However the page editor only offers multilinguality in the case of categories, but not course, folders and groups.
2 Conceptual Summary
We propose to enable the multilingual capability of the page editor for all container objects of the repository (courses, folders, groups - since categories already have it). The implementation should be identical to categoires.
This should not be too hard to accomplish.

7 Discussion
Kiegel, Colin [kiegel] 2017-02-03: I split this request off of Multilingual Titles and Descriptions for All Object Types + Plugins as a result of the JF Workshop on 2017-01-31 about Multinguality.
Is it sufficient to link Multilingual content support for implementation details? We propose to copy this implementation 1:1.
Killing, Alexander [alex], 8 Feb 2017: I support this request. Multilingual page editing will only be available, if the container supports multilinguality for title/description. It only adresses the "main content" screen. Not other usages of the page editor (e.g. introductions into single learning objectives in the learning object driven course).
JourFixe, ILIAS [jourfixe], NOV 06, 2017: We highly appreciate this suggestion and schedule it for 5.4. Multilinguality for page editor content of container pages should always be coupled with multilinguality for title and description. Therefore, we request to implement this for courses, groups and folders, too. The current multilingual title and description implementation (as linked above) could be reused for this implementation. If a new multilingual UI input element is offered by the KS, this could be used as well.
