Fileupload in participant record

1 Initial Problem

The Individual Assessment is used to represent an offline activity where the examiner fills out an evaluation sheet for the testee while watching her doing said activity. With the current version of the IA, the examiner would have to transcribe the document to store it in ILIAS.

2 Conceptual Summary

A file upload is added to the participant record input dialog. The uploaded file is visible for the examiner and users with the permission "View learning progress of other users" by default. It is possible to allow the participant to have a view by activating the checkbox "Participant can view file".

Additionally a configuration is introduced in the IA settings. With this configuration, it will be possible to mark the fileupload in every participant record as required.

3 User Interface Modifications

3.1 List of Affected Views

The user interfaces we want to change is the participant record form and th IA settings.

3.2 User Interface Details

We want to extend the participant record with a fileupload and a checkbox. The compontens should be arranged right after the internal record note.
The fileupload an the decision the participant might view, are disabled if the IA is finalized.

The IA settings form will get new checkbox. With this checkbox it is possible to mark the file upload in every participant record as required.

7 Discussion

AT 2017-01-30: The "File is visible for Participant" might be better placed in the Settings than in the records. 

JourFixe, ILIAS [jourfixe]: Feature is highly appreciated and scheduled for 5.3. We would like to have the setting 'File is accessible for participant' on the IA's setting screen as a general setting for each IA (and not for each participant). Same with 'Notify...' on the same screen.
