GUI for Chat in Repository: Abandon Options for Message Formatting

1 Initial Problem

The SIG Learning Communities considered the different layout settings as obsolet and suggest to remove them.

There are NO options for layout-settings for a user like font type, color or size. All this is uniform.

2 Conceptual Summary

The layout settings part of the message form of ILIAS repository chat objects should be removed. The message format (color, style, etc.) of existing chat messages will not be affected by this change.

3.1 List of Affected Views

• The only affected screen is the content screen of the chat repository object.

3.2 User Interface Details

• The complete Layout sub form will be removed.
