GUI for Chat in Repository: Blocked Participants

1 Initial Problem

The SIG Learning Communities elaborated some tiny change requests regarding the feature Banned Users of ILIAS repository chat objects.

2 Conceptual Summary

The SIG Learning Communities suggests to ...

• ... rename the tab from Gesperrte Benutzer (de)/Bans (en) to Ausgeschlossene Teilnehmer (de)/Barred Users (en).
• ... show additional information, by whom a user got barred from the current chat object. It is worth being mentioned that this information is missing for all database records when the feature will be introduced with ILIAS 5.3.x, so Ubekannt (de) / Unknown (de) should be displayed in case this information is missing or a moderator or does not exists anymore.

• Tab navigation of repository chat objects: Rename the tab from Gesperrte Benutzer (de)/Bans (en) to Ausgeschlossene Teilnehmer (de)/Barred Users (en)
• Banned Users Screen: Each table row should present the information, by whom a user was banned (respecting the public profile settings of the moderator).

7 Discussion

JourFixe, ILIAS [jourfixe], Sept 26, 2016: We want to keep the terms "banned" and "gesperrt" but highly appreciate the suggestion to add information about who has banned the user - and when (datetime).
