Preview of Mail Content

1 Requirements

Many web-based system offering a mail component are featuring a preview for e-mails.
By now (version 5.1), the ILIAS mail system doesn't offer anything like that, so e.g., you cannot check the appearance of your e-mail before sending it.

Jansen, Michael [mjansen] I support this request, but please provide some mockups. And: Because ILIAS does support HTML (only) for external emails since v. 5.1.x, a preview in the browser is not necessarily a good indicator of how the email is presented in the different external email clients (web based clients, Outlook, Thunderbird, ...). If ILIAS will able to use HTML for the message body in future releases, you'll already see the result in the WYSIWYG editor. What is the benefit of a preview here?
