Move E-Mails to Folders by Drag&Drop
1 Requirements
By now (version 5.1), sorting e-mails in the ILIAS mail system is not very convenient.
Moving a mail to a folder affords four clicks (checking mail – opening menu – choosing folder – clicking "Execute") which is quite a lot. To keep your inbox tidy, it would be a great help being able to just drag&drop an e-mail to one of the folders (in the tree view).

Jansen, Michael [mjansen] Aug 10, 2016:
- There is already a tree view in the mail system.
- I support the request of being able to Drag&Drop emails from the table to one of the folders in the tree view (maybe Alex has to be involved because he is the maintainer of ilExplorerBaseGUI)
- Should the mail disappear from the table when it is moved to another folder without any page reload? If yes, the ilTable2GUI has to support asynchronous actions (means: Refactoring of the ilTable2GUI). It has to update it's data (N - 1 messages left after moving one message to another folder), means: Recalculation of the the maximum table items, current page, current presented items. Furthermore the green success message has to be added by JavaScript.
Suittenpointner, Florian [suittenpointner], Aug 10, 2016: Thank you, Michael, I cleaned up the page according to your requirements.
A new page Automatically Move E-Mails to Folders by Configurable Rules has been created.
