event-triggered actions for mobile devices

1 Requirements

To create more interactive content it would be great to have the opportunity to change the content of a learning page based on specific events, triggered by the sensors of the device, the user is using. It would lead to a more interactive learning module. I don't know any authoring software which is able to do so.

For example:

  • A specific block of a page can be changed, if the user reaches a specific waypoint, detected by the GPS-sensors of the device.
  • The user can change the selected answer just by tilting his device to the right/left.
  • A specific block of a page with a picture will get visible, if the user angle his device to the north.
  • The size of a picture will be changed, when the device detects a specific wifi.
  • A video is starting when the user hold his device next to an nfc tag.
As a non-programmer iam not sure, which sensors/paramters of the browser/device can be read-out.
Perhaps its possible by using a transparent/hodden third-party-app, the user have to download before.
  • GPS-Coordinates / compass
  • orientation (landscape/portrait)
  • g-sensors
  • brightness-sensors
  • Wireless-LAN
  • Bluetooth-Beacons
  • GSM-Network
  • NFC-sensors
