Commentary Overview in Learning Modules, Wikis, etc.
1 Requirements
Leraring Modules, Wikis and other page-based objects offer commentaries as a mode of interaction between content, learner and tutor.
However, when such an object contains a large number of pages, tutors and all other users can easily miss out on new commentaries on single pages, because there is no central overview page.
I propose introducing a new tab or widget for Learning Modules, Wikis, Glossaries, ... Called "Commentary Overview" which lists all pages (and perhaps a snippet of each commentary, if this is GUI-wise possible) inlcuding the date of the newest comment, the number of comments and the number fo commenting users. This could be realized as a table:
Page Title | Number of Commentaries | Number of Commenting Users | Date of Last Comment | Last Comment By | Snippet of Last Comment |
Testpage | 16 | 5 | 31.03.2016, 16:45 | Marko Glaubitz [marko.glaubitz] | I totally disagree with that last comment, but I have to adm... |
In addition, it wold be great if users could subscribe to notifications when a new comment is created in the entire object / page. However, this could be an option ("Include comments in notifications") in the object settings and would use the existing notification features i.e. "Activate Notifications for Wiki" and "Activate Notifications for this Wiki Page"
