Enable Copy of Repository Plugin Objects with Container Objects

1 Requirements

When implementing a Repository Object Plugin it currently is possible to make the object copyable via the action menu of the object itself. It however is not possible to copy the object when it is in a category (or another container object) and one wants to copy the whole category. The plugin object then can only be linked.
The requirement therefore is, that an object provided via an Repository Object Plugin should be able to be copied when the surrounding container is copied.

3 Discussion

Killing, Alexander [alex], 14 Mar 2016: I fully support this request.

JourFixe, ILIAS [jourfixe]: We appreciate this request and schedule it for 5.2. Stefan Meyer and Richard Klees will check if a plugin.xml will be a suitable solution to keep the information for supporting the copy action or not.

4 Implementation

With release 5.2, it is possible to copy repository object plugins.
It is possible to (de)select the object plugins in the list view of container objects and on the copy selection dialog for container objects.
