Integrated Reports for Superiors

1 Description

ILIAS should provide a feature to administrate a hierarchy of organisational units (departments, ...). It should be possible to assign users to these units and to define superiors for staff members. These could be used for

• Reporting of learning progress to superiors
• Mass assignments of departments to courses/groups/...
• Support compliance processes incl. automatic notifications of staff members or superiors when courses are due.

4 Discussion

A. Killing, 31 Mar 2011: There is a partial implementation available in a Databay branch on our developments server. However, up to now we did not find the time to discuss this implementation and further steps that would be necessary to include it in ILIAS. This feature will not be included in ILIAS 4.2. We hope to be able to provide it with 4.3.
