Access to bookmarks from anywhere within ilias-platform

1 Requirements

It should be possible for user to access to their bookmarks directly from anywhere within ilias. For example this could be realized by a unfold/fold up button or implemented as seperate menu item.

In this context users should have the possibility to set behavior of opening bookmarks (open in new browser tab or within activ ilias-browser tab).

3 Discussion

Killing, Alexander [alex], 8 Mar 2017: I support the idea to make the bookmarks more accessible. Both, the bookmark managing screens and the bookmark block on the pd force the user to leave the current context. A presentation in a kind of drop down, overlay, modal or side menu would make it easier to just check the availability of a bookmark and abort the action, without losing current screen context.
