Export/Import of Repository Object Plugins
1 Requirements
Currently it is not possible to export/import repository object plugins in container objects (course, category ...). Plugins should be able to define whether or not they can be exported/imported, e.g. by implementing certain interfaces. In the export wizard I (as a privileged user) want to decide whether an object should be omitted or exported.
Summary: Repository object plugin types should be treated similar to core object types (export, import).

3 Discussion
Jansen, Michael [mjansen] September 14, 2015: Karola Koch asked me (during the ILIAS Conference) to put this feature on the Jour Fixe agenda. I'm not present today, but I think the request is clear enough to decide on it. Furthermore, Meyer, Stefan [smeyer] as the maintainer of the container export/import takes part at the current Jour Fixe.
JourFixe, ILIAS [jourfixe], September 14, 2015: We highly appreciate this request and schedule it for 5.2.
Kunkel, Matthias [mkunkel], Mar 07, 2016: Jörg Lützenkirchen has added necessary information for developers on how to extend their plugins for supporting export / import, see DevGuide.
4 Implementation
, 12 Aug 2016: This feature has been implemented as described above.
