Translation Functionality for Tests

1 Requirements

In ILIAS Version 4.4 a new translation functionality and multilinguality for some repository objects like categories and learning modules has been introduced. This feature request aims at extending this object translation functionality to (a) tests and (b) all question types. This request is related to Extended Translation Functionality for Container which focuses on container objects.

(a) Requirements for tests:

• Multilingual title, description, introduction and concluding remarks as well as marks

• Relevant question types (prioritised in descending order):

  2. Multiple Choice Question (Single Answer)
  3. Multiple Choice Question (Multiple Answers)
  4. Cloze Question
  5. Numeric Question
  6. Ordering Question (Vertical)
  7. Ordering Question (Horizontal)
  8. Matching Question

  10. Formula Question
  11. Text Subset Question
  12. File Upload Question
  13. Hot Spot / Image Map Question
• The concrete multilingual requirements depend on the question type: This is basically title, description, question, answers.
