Tile View in Repository

1 Requirements

We propose a new setting 'tile view' for every container. This will switch the presentation from a ListGUI to TileGUI (see screenshot/mockup). Note, that administrators will need the manage-subtab for sorting, etc. It could be discussed whether to include the actions drop-down in the tile-view or not.
Note: It should be possible to combine this with the embedded folders (see Embedded Folders in Courses).

Primary Goal:

• More visual presentation (larger icons, which can later be replaced/customized by 'HD' bitmaps)

• Reduced complexity (no actions menu? possibly less item properties?)

• Possibility to customize the tile image (HD bitmaps) for every kind of Ilias object.
