»Last Edited« in Table of Shared Resources

1 Initial Problem

Users can not tell when the last changes were made to a portfolio.
For accompanying processes, this is valuable information so that you do not have to look into every portfolio and look for changes.

2 Conceptual Summary

The Shared Resources Table should be supplemented with an option "last change since".
The result table should be supplemented by the column "Last Edit". It should be sorted according to these results.

AT 2018-05-24: This is costly. Will the Last Edit react to 

• updating a Media Object / Content Snippet in a Media Pool that is refereced into a Portfolio?
• adding a new consultation hour?
• if the Page Element "List of Courses" is updated because user has become a member of one additional course?
• if the Page Element "User Profile" is updated because the User changed her Profile? 
• Or will only hard edits in the page editor lead to an update of the "Last Edit" date? 
• Will people understand this?

The date of Last Edit should change only if changes are made in the page editor.

Such changes are:

• Add page elements
• Delete page elements
• Changing page elements, in addition to:
  • Change texts
  • change pictures (also interactive pictures)
  • Change table contents
  • Change code
  • Change column layout, blocks and accordions
  • Change contents of file lists
  • Change Settings for Consultation Hours, Competencies, My Courses, Learning History, Personal Profile

Automatic changes in page elements are not registered. (Consultation Hours, Competences, My Courses, Learning History, Content Snippets, Certificates, Personal Profile)

We discussed it again. We decide against, because of the time stamp will always ambigous.
Pictures, Media Pool Elements, content snippet changes and auto-updated content muddy the edit stamp.
