Optimizations for supportforums

1 Requirements

ilias.de uses the ILIAS Forum to handle the community support but the ILIAS Forum lacks some features making it more usable for Support.

• Rating of answers as shown on http://stackoverflow.com/
  • One can see the best solution first
• Setting a Thread to "[SOLVED]" 
  • One can see there is a solution in it or not
• Overview of all own Posts over all forums
  • Often you remember to have allready given an answer sometime in the past. This would allow to find them more quickly
• Overview of unanswered Posts (only one post in a thread)
• Overview of the most active threads (most visits or/and most posts)

2 Status

• Scheduled for: Not scheduled yet (will be set by Jour Fixe)
• Funding: Required / Partly funded by / Funded by ... (please indicate if you have funding for feature)
• Maintainer: (will be set by Jour Fixe)
• Implementation of the feature is done by (company, developer)
• Contract settled: (fill in "Yes" if a contract is already settled, otherwise "No" )

4 Discussion

Jansen, Michael [mjansen] 16 Jun 2015: As the responsible code maintainer I appreciate most of these ideas.

4.1 Rating

Jansen, Michael [mjansen] 16 Jun 2015: To enable a Stackoverflow-like rating the rating service of ILIAS has to be enanced. Maybe Leifos as the code maintainer for the rating service should be involved.

4.2 Setting a Thread to "[SOLVED]"

Jansen, Michael [mjansen] 16 Jun 2015: If this request is only about a new flag (incl. import/export) and its presentation, only little effort is required.

4.3 Overview of all own Posts over all forums
