Learning Progress by Question Scores in ILIAS Learning Modules

1 Requirements

By now, questions can be integrated in pages of ILIAS learning modules, however, the scores achieved in these questions cannot be to the learner nor the trainer, and they also cannot be used as a criterion for the learning progress.

This is somewhat puzzling as entering those scores is obligatory but doesn't have any functionality.
So, it would enhance the functional consistency of the editor to offer these score data to functions like learning progress progress reports.

Thus, a new learning progress mode "Achieved Scores" could be introduced in ILIAS learning modules, either for the overall learning module or chapterwise. The measure should be stated by percentage.

4 Discussion

In the meantime, a restricted version of this request has been implemented:
Learning Modules: Learning Progress based on Correct Answers
However, it only support learning progress depending on answering all questions of a learning module correctly.
A helpful advanced development would be a threshold defining a fraction of achievable scores that is sufficient to achieve the LP status "Completed", similar to the cmi.scaled_passing_score variable in SCORM.

Zenzen, Enrico [ezenzen], 24 AUG 2022: This request no longer fulfills the requirements of the Feature Wiki. In consultation with the maintainer I change the status of the feature request to "Redundant / outdated". If the request is still relevant, please update template and mockups.
