Essay Questions in LM with Immediate Feedback

1 Requirements

Essay questions with immediate feedback would be great. This can really help to make learning more active. If possible options for this question type could be:

• Store learner answer for future reference yes/no
• Learner can do the question again yes/no
  • if no learner and system answer are displayed on future visits
  • if yes learner can make the question again and get feedback. Depending on option 1 the learner starts with a blank field or with his previous answer.

Matthias Kunkel, 13 Apr 2014: Feature request was originally added in March 2014 to page Essay Questions in Learning Modules but should be treated as a separate request.

Alexander Killing, 13 June 2014: I do no think that settings that control whether previous learner answers are shown or not should be done on the question or question type level. This should be controlled on the learning module level for all questions of a lm consistently. What is meant by "for future reference"? How would this supposed to look like?
