SCORM Offline Player for Tablet Computers with iOS and Windows

1 Requirements

Actually the SCORM Offline Player works on several operating Systems, but only with Firefox. Unfortunately Mozilla has stopped developing Metro Firefox for Windows 8 and Firefox for iOS. Another technical platform is necessary for these operating systems.

JF 18 Aug 2014: We support the general idea. Which options do we have? Is it realistic, that we will be able to provide anything with ILIAS 4.5?

Kunkel, Matthias [mkunkel], June 03, 2015: At the time being, we are trying to get some funding from the French Navy to make a feasability study for implementing a SOP version that is independent from Firefox. Any next step depends from the result of this study. An implementation might be possible for 5.2 at the earliest.
