Content Page for Session

1 Requirements

The session is used to offer information about a real-life training or classroom event. Besides the possibility of adding files, only a very restricted number of information in unformatted text can be added to the session (and is presented on an "Info page" based screen).

Suggestion

• Instead of an "Info" tab, the session should get a proper "Content" tab with an integrated ILIAS page editor. This allows to add any information (text, pictures, videos, ...) that is supported by the IPE.
• Existing text information blocks like Date/Time, Title, Description, Location, ... can be represented by page element placeholders. Such placeholders can be removed or added from the page (similar to the personal profile block in portfolios). We
• Assigned materials to a session should be presented in the default ListGUI like in a folder or course.
• Additional information from the Info tab:
  • Tags => Default presentation in Actions (exists already!)
  • Permalink => Bottom of page like usual
  • Created on => no need for
  • Owner => Exists already in Permissions
• These changes would also streamline the appearance of this repository object and make it much easier to use.

Zenzen, Enrico [ezenzen], 04 AUG 2022: This request no longer fulfills the requirements of the Feature Wiki. In consultation with the maintainer I change the status of the feature request to "Redundant / outdated". If the request is still relevant, please update template and mockups.
