Link to view stored portfolio

1 Requirements

The exercises can use a portfolio to submit answers which is nice for the learners. Teachers however have no practical solution to view the student answer. Only a download link to a zipped version of the frozen portfolio is provided. It would be much more practical if a link was provided that displays this portfolio (preferably in a new window or tab). This makes it possible to directly provide feedback using the exercise tools.

4 Discussion

Yvonne Seiler, 26.02.2015: I support this feature. A link to the portfolio in ILIAS would be helpful for exercise-administrators to have a fast overview over all submissions.

additional (29.04.2015): Should be implemented for blog assignments too!

Sophia Busch, 21.03.2017:  I agree that it would be nice to be able to view the results online. At the same time this means that you would either have to compromise in that the portfolio would still be open for editing by the students or I assume you'd have to provide some sort of webspace to store the portfolio where it is "out of students' hands"

If I want to view my students' portfolios online, I ask them to give me a url to their portfolio so that I can navigate there from the exercise itself. So I design the assignment as a text assignment in which the students enter the link as text/as url. Maybe this might help you?
