Timestamp New Course Membership

1 Requirements

There is a need to evaluate the exact date/time when a course member has been assigned to a specific ilias course.
So there has to be a new/additional field in the correlating database.
 
Example given:
 

• Date/time when the user account has been added to ilias (is known)
• Date/time when the user has accepted the user agreements (is known)
• Date/time of user's last login (is known)
• Date/time when the course member has been assigned to the course by the admin/course admin (is not known)
• Date/time course member's first course login (is known)
• Date/time course member's last course login (is known)

 
The requested evaluation could be:

• Course admins have been asked to add 15 new members to course "xy" (15.11.2012)
• Course admins add the members to course "xy" (20.11.2012)
• Course admins have been asked to add 30 more members to course "xy" (02.02.2013)
• Course admins add these additional 30 members to course "xy" (10.02.2013)
• Course evaluation shows that 10 out of 45 members have finished the course by passing a final test (28.02.2013)
  which means that 35 members have not (yet) passed the final test.
• Evaluate: Who of the 35 members not passing the test (yet) have been assigned to the course in 2012 and who
  has been assigned in 2013?

 
We have been asked for this kind of evaluation regarding courses with hundreds of course members who have been assigned to the courses in the years 2012 and 2013. For these and several upcoming courses will last a few years this kind of evaluation have be done on a regular basis (quarterly-, half-yearly and annual reports as well as ad-hoc reports).
 
The requested feature has to be applied in the course section for there will be course members that will be assigned to several courses.
 
I'm not sure whether this feature has to be located at course-membership-level or at learning-progress-level
 
Maybe the discussion to this feature will show that there's also a need for the data field "course membership ended/terminated" to have this kind of information as well. Then this feature request has to be expanded adequately.
 
The field(s) has/have to be exportable with the usual (learning progress) course export feature.
