Improved Footnote Handling
1 Requirements
Footnotes are problably one of the most annoying things in academic writing. However, there is no way of getting along without them especially if students are supposed to use ILIAS for academic work that is publicly (or university-wide) accessible.
Right now, there are some improvements that, imho, could be made regarding footenotes (feel free to extend the list)
- working footnotes in image description texts
- a footnote page element so that the footnote block can be placed anywhere on the page
- option to group footnote that have the same contents (cf. most wiki software systems)
- import footnotes if pasted from word files (yes, I know this is a pita :) )
