Full JavaScript support for embedded questions

1 Requirements

JavaScript support for embedded questions shows a mixed picture: For some questions

  • it doesn't work at all (matching question)
  • it fully works (vertical ordering question)
  • it works with JS but drag and drop is a pain to use (horizontal ordering question)
Embedded questions that rely on JavaScript should work the same way in tests and learning modules.

3 Discussion

Alex Killing 13 Apr 2014: I support this request. They rendering should be more similar. Please note that these are (and will be) different implementations, since the learning modules re-use the implementation of the SCORM editor and not the rendering of the T&A, most important reasons:

  • SCORM/ILIAS LM renderering of questions must be fully client side (no server connection for showing answers)
  • SCORM/ILIAS LM allows multiple questions on one page

Matthias Kunkel, 13 Apr 2014: Based on the recommendations by the maintainer and the head of development I schedule the feature for 4.5.
