Placeholder for course mails

1 Requirements

Additional placeholders for course mails are highly appreciated to ease the daily course administration and communication with course members.

Suggested placeholders are:

• COURSE_STATUS: Status of user in course
• COURSE_MARK: Mark user has got for course
• COURSE_TIME_SPENT: Time user has spent in course
• COURSE_LAST_ACCESS: Last course access of user
• COURSE_FIRST_ACCESS: First course access of user
• COURSE_URL: URL of course
• COURSE_TITLE: Title of course

3 Discussion

JF 14 Oct 2013: We appreciate the feature and schedule it for 4.5. The mail system must be extended in a way that components can add additional placeholders. Then the course system and/or the learning progress component has to use this extension.

Matthias Kunkel: November 05, 2014: Feature has been postponed to 5.1 because funding is not available before 2015.
