Decline User Agreement

1 Requirements

If a user is created through import or by sync from an external user management system (LDAP, CAS, ...) the account exists already before an user can accept the user agreement. In case the user does not accept the agreement (no matter for which reason) the account is still active but cannot be used. So the user would get e-mails from the system but has no chance to delete the own account.
 
We suggest to change the behaviour of the user acceptance in a way the user has two options on the user agreement screen:

  • Accept (and activate / create the account)
  • Decline and Delete Account
If the user clicks "Decline and Delete Account" a confirmation screen is displayed. If the user confirms ILIAS deletes the user from the system and the administrator that also gets the new registration email is informed by email.
