Streamline Notification Addressee Statements

1 Description

Up to now, the statement of notification addressees is not realized in a consistent pattern:

Test

Settings > Mail Notifications:
Owner of object is notified (no addresse statement possible)

Survey

Settings > Results > Email notification:
"Enter a comma separated list of recipients who will receive a notification on finished surveys."

Exercise

Settings > Email Notification on Submissions:
Owner of object is notified (no addresse statement possible)

Administration > Authentication and Registration

New Registration Settings > Notifications:
"Enter one or more Login-Ids of users (comma seperated) that will be informed about new user registrations per e-mail."

Administration > Files and Folders

Disk Quota > Settings > Send Disk Quota Summary:
"Enter a comma-separated list of user names for those users, who should receive a daily summary of the exceeded disk quota."

We should streamline this in the following way:

  • Always allowing to make an addressee statement.
  • Always offering options:
    • Notification to owner (default).
    • Notification to myself.
    • Enter comma-separated ILIAS usernames.
    • Enter comma-separated e-mail addresses.
