More Sharing Options for e-Portfolios and Blogs

1 Description

The settings of the public area currently offer an option "Enable User Content Publishing" which (de)activates the possibility to publish blogs and portfolios on the internet. Some institutions need more granular settings:

• An administration option that only allows to publish in the internet "with password", but not without password
• An administration option that allows to disable the "Share with all logged in users" alternative
• A way to define named target groups for sharing:
  • The groups are defined in the adminstration
  • Propreties of a group are a title and a list of global roles
  • These groups appear in the "Share" section in the drop-down left to the "Add" button.
  • User can add them for sharing which means that all members of the assigned roles can access the blog or the portfolio.
