Certificate Templates

1 Description

1. Administrators should be able to define Certificate-Templates, which can be selecetd in Tests etc. When changing one of those Templates, every certificate should be updated (e.g new background image, placeholder).
2. Certificates can adopt those templates, but they also could break inheritance for one or more options (e.g. only the background image is replaced by updating the template)

JF 19 Dec 2011: We agree that templates would be very useful. The second "break inheritance" feature sounds a little bit "over-complex" to us. We also have the feeling, that a general revision of the certificate feature could be advisable. The usability of the editor is quite limited. A better approach could be to use RTF files with placeholders as starting point. This would need a rtf2pdf conversion on the server side, if PDF should be the output format. Further ideas and comments are appreciated.
