4 Discussion

First we would like to structure the possible requirements:

  1. Read access to ILIAS calendars in external calendar applications, see subscription to calendars.
  2. Read access to calendars of external applications in ILIAS, see Embedding External Calendars.
  3. Write access on a calendar residenting in ILIAS in an external calendar application. (the main requirement of this page).
We think that the first requirement is supported by more applications than the third. We would highly appreciate if this feature could be implemented first. Moreover the third requirement is the most complex/expensive to implement.

hello,

I synchronize Outlook Calendar and Google Calendar with a special little software called Google Sync.
It is very simple : I select the one or two way of the synchronization et I select the time between each synchronization.

Why not creating an similar software to synchronize Ilias calendar and other calendars like Google ones ?

Maybe an external synchronization should use less server hosting Ilias.
